Huna Totem Corporation has introduced a new cruise terminal in Whittier (Alaska).
Situated in the remote Prince William Sound, ~60 miles southeast of Anchorage, the US$80 million facility features a double-berth pier and welcomed its first vessel in September.
The project is the result of a collaboration between the City of Whittier, NCLH-Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, and Huna Totem Corporation. Located on 20 acres of private land, the terminal lies nestled between tranquil waters and rugged mountains. NCLH holds the primary scheduling rights, but the facility is available for use by other cruise companies.
