JUNEAU, Alaska — Jan. 29, 2025 — Huna Totem Corporation (HTC), the Alaska Native Corporation
with a 50-year history of preserving and supporting culture and community, today announced Erica
Drahozal as director of sustainability across Huna Totem businesses.

In this newly created position, Drahozal is responsible for the corporation’s environmental, health and
safety policies and procedures, a role she previously held at Huna Totem’s cruise destination Icy Strait
Point (ISP). For five years, she played a key role in advancing public health policies, workplace safety and environmental conservation initiatives at the destination.

With a decade of experience in the cruise industry, Drahozal has led the development of world-class
health, safety and environmental programs that align with regulatory standards from the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration; U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention; and United States Public Health Service.

Before joining ISP, she served as the health, safety and environmental officer for Norwegian Cruise
Line’s private island destination Harvest Caye in Belize. In that role, not only did she build a highly
regarded environmental safety program, Drahozal managed public health programs, developed safety
training programs and collaborated with Belizean government agencies to create a wildlife management
plan that protected sea turtles, manatees and other native species.

Her work will continue to create and maintain sustainable, safe and comfortable environments for
employees, guests and the communities Huna Totem serves.

“Erica’s leadership and deep understanding of sustainability in the tourism sector make her an
invaluable part of our growing team,” said Huna Totem’s President and CEO Russell Dick. “Her work at
ISP coupled with her extensive experience and passion for environmental stewardship and community
well-being will undoubtedly help us further our mission of developing responsible tourism opportunities
that honor our cultural values and create lasting benefits for the communities we serve.”

Beyond her civilian career, Drahozal served in a Civil Affairs Brigade for the army, deploying to Djibouti
where she supported military personnel management and deployment operations, strengthening her
skills in crisis response, emergency planning and leadership.

Huna Totem Corporation remains committed to sustainable tourism leadership, ensuring that visitor
experiences are enriching and memorable as well as developed with respect for the land, culture and
communities they impact.
