Company Launches New Branding and Website Following Significant Growth

Following a period of robust business development including multiple strategic acquisitions and partnerships, Huna Totem Corporation (HTC) has introduced a refreshed look and feel, including a new website (www.hunatotem.com), which more prominently reflects the company’s pillars of culture, community, and business.

HTC has always been guided by its values, and as the company continues to grow across Alaska and beyond, it recognizes the opportunity to showcase and reaffirm those values for its shareholders, customers, and partners.

“For the more than 50 years we’ve been in business, we have worked for the benefit of our people, focused on perpetuating our culture and serving our community and shareholders by working with integrity,” said HTC President and CEO Russell Dick. “As we continue to grow, so does our responsibility to carry our values beyond our own community, ensuring they guide not only how we take care of our shareholders but how we serve our guests, work with our partners, and uplift others. We’re proud to showcase who we are, where we come from, and where we’re headed in this brand-new way.”

HTC’s new rally cry, ‘For the Benefit of Our People. For the Benefit of All People.,’ is a reminder to all that the company is not only driven by its commitment to the Xunaa Káawu by building successful businesses that generate shareholder prosperity and perpetuate its cultural heritage, but also by a passion to deliver meaningful experiences and services to customers; economic and social benefit to the communities it touches; and partnerships built on integrity and shared values. The HTC refresh comes on the heels of significant expansion. In addition to the continued growth of HunaTek, the company’s government contracting business, HTC has been hard at work executing against its Alaska Native Tourism Strategy which 1) connects the traditional tourism system with developing opportunities, 2) guides the visitor journey through authentic Alaska experiences, and 3) drives social and economic opportunity and benefits to Indigenous communities across the state. As part of the strategy, the company has partnered with Native corporations including Doyon, Limited and Klawock Heenya, to make strategic investments that enhance cultural tourism across the state of Alaska. Among the initial initiatives are the development of Klawock Island and Chugach Glacier Gateway, two new destinations designed to offer visitors a locally relevant and culturally rich Alaska experience.
